We, the Hindu priests (commonly known as purohits or pandits) perform a variety of rituals, including daily prayers (pujas), festival ceremonies, and rites of passage such as weddings (vivah), housewarming ceremonies (graha pravesh), and funeral rites (antyesti).
Temples across the UK employ priests to conduct deity worship (archana) and maintain temple rituals. We also visit homes to perform private ceremonies.
Spiritual Guidance:
Priests act as spiritual guides, interpreting Hindu scriptures and offering advice on religious matters. We also help individuals connect with their faith and understand traditional practices.
